A man was injured after on his return from climbing Mt. Gould. Winds were in excess of 50 kts which made the rescue even more challenging. Michael Goguen was able to rescue the gentleman in Glacier National Park Montana. He is the Rescue Specialist with the man on the cliff. A park visitor took this video with a telephoto lense. It is great for people to see not only does Michael fund the program but he is also an important part of the rescue team.
Two Bear Air Rescue is sent on a mission when the requesting agency calls Flathead County 911 Center. The request is sent to the Flathead County Sheriff and Search and Rescue Coordinator for dispatch.
Two Bear Air Rescue provides Search and Rescue services, working in conjunction with ground ambulances and Air ambulance services by coordinating transfer of rescue victims for transport to local hospitals. Two Bear Air Rescue missions are under the authority of the Sheriff in each County which they are working in.
